4th August IGNATIAN DAY Finding God in all things … in Africa 9am-4pm


Ms Puleng Matsaneng and Dr Annemarie Paulin-Campbell from the Jesuit Institute South Africa will speak on Adapting Ignatian Spirituality for the African context. Annemarie is the head of the school of Spirituality and Puleng is on the Spirituality team.

Rev Sidwell Mokgothu is a Methodist Minister and Bishop elect of the Limpopo District of the MCSA. Sidwell was part of the team that developed the Sedibeng model of retreat work – bringing together contemplative Ignatian and African spirituality. Sidwell and the other team members regularly offer retreats and gatherings throughout South Africa.

Electives (each person will be able to participate in 2 electives)
Topics include:
* Music Making and Prayer
* Learning to pray in Ignatian ways
* Story Telling and Deep Talk as spiritual experience
* Gospel Contemplation and the Historical Jesus
