We invite all people to belong in community. Many of us may well be 'members' of a community for a long time, but not feel we belong in the community. We hope that in this community you will connect to others, find care and support, and grow in your discipleship. All those who express a desire to belong here are invited to make covenant with the community. The key elements of the covenant are listed below:

As a member of the Hilton Methodist Church I covenant myself:

To intentionally develop my faith.

“They devoted themselves to the apostle’s teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.”  (Acts 2:42)

To an act of risk-taking mission or service.

“Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me.” (Matt 25:40)

To the passionate worship of God.

“How lovely is your dwelling place, O Lord of hosts! My soul longs, indeed it faints for the courts of the Lord.”  (Ps. 84 1-2)

To the extravagant generosity of my time, my gifts and my money.

“You will be enriched in every way for your great generosity.” (2 Cor. 9:11)
