Our Minister – Joe Taylor
Joe is an ordained minister in the Methodist Church of Southern Africa. He is married to Mel. They have one daughter, Jordy-Mae, and two Labrador pups.
Joe is a passionate pastor, writer, musician and teacher. He strongly believes in his call to raise awareness of various social justice issues and to confront them with humility and grace. Through his life and ministry, he shares about the God of Love who can be encountered in all things.

Our Children’s Pastor and Administrator – Mercia Taylor
Mercia is our Children’s Pastor who is a trained Godly Play facilitator and she co-ordinates our Children’s Ministry. She is married to Errol Taylor, who owns Taylor’s Rest in the Midlands and they have two children and she has three grandchildren. Before Mercia moved to Hilton she was children’s Pastor at Nahoon Methodist Church in East London, so she brings with her much experience and care for children.
Mercia is also our administrator and deals with all of the secretarial matters at the church.
